TERMS OF SALE
By placing an order through the Raja Jewellers New Zealand website, you are offering to purchase products from ACQ Distribution, the New Zealand operator of Raja Jewellers New Zealand, subject to these Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to product availability and confirmation of the applicable price.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available through the website unless otherwise agreed. Once your order has been successfully placed, we will send an order confirmation to the email address provided by you. Receipt of an order confirmation does not necessarily constitute acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order occurs when the products are dispatched or when we otherwise confirm that the order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, where there has been an obvious pricing or product information error, where payment cannot be authorised, or where we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity. Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable New Zealand legislation.
ORDERING ONLINE
We take reasonable steps to provide a secure online shopping experience and to protect information provided through our website. Payments are processed through authorised third-party payment service providers using appropriate security measures. ACQ Distribution does not directly store complete payment card information where that information is processed securely by the applicable payment provider.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information provided when placing an order, including contact, billing and delivery details, is complete and accurate.
ONLINE ORDER CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@rajajewellers.co.nz or by telephone at 0800 725 253. Where an order has not yet been processed or dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a cancellation request. However, cancellation may not be possible once an order has been prepared or dispatched.
We are generally unable to accept change-of-mind cancellations for bespoke, made-to-order, customised or personalised products, including items that have been engraved, resized, specially manufactured or otherwise altered at the customer’s request.
This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a product is faulty, does not match its description, is not of acceptable quality or otherwise fails to meet the guarantees required by New Zealand law, you may be entitled to an appropriate remedy regardless of whether the product was customised. The Consumer Guarantees Act provides consumers with remedies such as repair, replacement or refund where applicable.
PRICES
All prices displayed on the Raja Jewellers New Zealand website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and exclude GST unless clearly stated otherwise. Applicable GST, delivery charges and any other additional charges will be displayed or communicated before the purchase is completed.
Jewellery prices may be influenced by factors including precious metal prices, gemstone prices, foreign exchange rates and supplier costs. We reserve the right to change prices at any time before an order is placed. Once an order has been accepted, the agreed price will apply except where there has been a genuine and obvious pricing error.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on the website are accurate and clearly communicated. New Zealand pricing rules require pricing information to be clear, accurate and not misleading, and additional charges should be disclosed before purchase.
DISCOUNT
Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to any specific terms stated with the relevant promotion. Unless otherwise stated, a discount may only be used once per qualifying transaction and cannot be combined with another promotion or discount.
We reserve the right to amend, withdraw or cancel a promotion or discount at any time, subject to any commitments already made to customers and applicable New Zealand law. Any advertised discount, promotional price or comparison with a previous price will be presented accurately and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
AFTER-SALES SERVICES
ACQ Distribution may assist with jewellery repairs, maintenance and other after-sales services and may engage suitably qualified third-party service providers to carry out such work. Any applicable charges and service conditions will be communicated to the customer before the work proceeds.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACQ Distribution will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from the use of, or inability to use, this website where such liability may lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including rights available to consumers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The content of this website, including jewellery designs, photographs, images, graphics, text, logos, trademarks, brand names and other intellectual property, is owned by Raja Jewellers (Pvt) Limited, its licensors, or other respective rights holders and is used for the Raja Jewellers New Zealand operation with appropriate authorisation.
You may view, download or print content from the website solely for your personal and non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, commercially exploit or otherwise use any website content without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder.
You must not use the Raja Jewellers name, trademarks, designs, photographs or other intellectual property in connection with any commercial activity without prior written authorisation. By using this website, you also agree not to interfere with, damage, disrupt or attempt to compromise the operation, security or integrity of the website.
